International Fun Day

Our school PTA, and especially Mrs. Letitia Johnson, planned a wonderful International Fun Day last week. The 3rd-5th graders upstairs were so excited to be through with the MCT2 and the lower grades were glad to not have to be so quiet while the upper grades were testing that the festivities were especially appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you PTA for being so committed to making Davis a wonderful place to be for all!

Students rotated through stations about Pakistan, Israel, Russia, Argentina, Ethiopia, China, and India. They all enjoyed listening to guest speakers, making music, playing games, tasting food, and dancing. What a great time to discover the diverse population of cultures of our school! Check out my pictures to see the fun we had!

Even WAPT came by to see what was going on at Davis!

Additional note added June 15:

Check out the link on JPS's web page about our International Fun Day. The "facepaint" they mention wasn't face paint at all... it was mud from the Dead Sea! And the students LOVED the way it felt on their skin! Davis International Fun Day
